Exam security is vital to Inteleos’ mission. The value of your credentials relies on it
Cheating
We have a zero-tolerance policy for cheating of any sort. By taking an Inteleos exam, candidates acknowledge and pledge to comply with our standards.
Behaviors considered cheating include:
- Taking somebody else’s test
- Having somebody else take your test
- Bringing notes/other materials into the exam room
- Removing test center materials from the premises
- Taking or offering review courses that claim to include live questions
- Posting exam content in public forums
We monitor testing aggressively, using advanced technologies. Any and all suspicious behavior is investigated thoroughly.
Other Prohibited Behaviors
Other prohibited behaviors include:
- Proxy testing
- Acquisition of unauthorized materials
- Use of unauthorized materials
- Stealing content
- Possession of stolen content
- Fraud and fraudulent schemes
- Discussing exam details with other candidates
Disciplinary action
Any candidate found to be engaged in an unauthorized behavior will face immediate consequences.
Disciplinary actions can include:
- Exam termination
- Score invalidation
- Revocation of credentials
- Prohibition from taking future exams
- Prohibition from pursuing future credentials
Fraud
Bad actors sometimes claim to have exam-specific content in an attempt to defraud people of their money or personal information.
Candidates found engaging in these fraudulent schemes will face disciplinary action, even if they never receive exam-specific content.
Report Possible Cheating
We encourage you to report any suspected prohibited activity. Your report can be anonymous. We open an official investigation for every report received.
When submitting a report, include as much information as possible. All details help:
- Location
- Time
- Name or description of involved parties
- Suspected behavior

If you opt to submit your report with your name, we may ask you to:
- Write and sign a formal statement
- Sit for a deposition by opposing council during legal action
