Training without walls: a VR partnership

What if ultrasound students could practice scans before ever touching a patient?

That’s not a hypothetical. Inteleos is working with Vantari — an Australian health technology innovator — to bring immersive virtual reality simulation to sonography education in world.

Simulation has never been so accessible — or felt so real.

For many students and programs, traditional simulation is out of reach — too expensive, too space-intensive, too hard to scale. VR changes that equation. Learners step into life-like clinical environments, manipulate virtual transducers with true-to-life precision, and build skills through guided practice and real-time feedback.

The platform includes a virtual interactive console, training aids with step-by-step visual guides, and performance metrics that support self-directed learning.

Access

Most programs can’t afford traditional simulation. VR removes the cost and space barrier — making high-fidelity training available to more students, in more places.

Practice

The Vantari/Inteleos partnership gained momentum through the Inteleos Research Network participants who got early access to Vantari’s immersive environments.

Now, we are inviting more Diagnostic Medical Sonography programs to join the Beta Site Initiative.
