Knowledge Confirmation

Knowledge Confirmation is the newest component of Maintenance of Certification (MOC), and outlines Inteleos’ dedication to encouraging our community’s ongoing learning.

Knowledge Confirmation Requirement

Knowledge Confirmation is a Maintenance of Certification (MOC) requirement completed through SKILLS Platform quizzes. Most certificants complete four quizzes per specialty per year (10 questions each, released quarterly) and must achieve at least 80% correct cumulatively by December 31 to maintain Active Status. Requirements for certain certifications may vary.

There is no additional fee, and quizzes can be completed via the SKILLS mobile app or website.

Why does Knowledge Confirmation matter?

Knowledge Confirmation focuses specifically on creating a space for healthcare professionals to demonstrate their skills and open opportunities to learn and grow.

Housed in the SKILLS Platform, the Knowledge Confirmation component challenges Certificants to demonstrate their continuing commitment to competence with easy-to-access quizzes built upon their earned specialties.

Knowledge Confirmation also supports the requirements for accreditation of certifications in accordance with the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB). Certification programs accredited by ANAB to the ANSI/ISO/IEC 17024:2012 standard represent a designation of excellence, recognized worldwide by employers, industry leaders, hiring managers, and certification holders.
