Reinstatement
The reinstatement process allows those who do not complete the renewal steps and renewal fee payment by December 31 to avoid permanent revocation.
If your renewal is not completed by that date, your certification is revoked; however, you have two opportunities to reinstate and avoid permanent revocation:
First reinstatement opportunity: Complete your renewal and pay the renewal fee plus a $150 administrative fee by February 28.
December registrants: If you earned your first certification in December, you have until February 28 to complete your renewal and pay the renewal fee for the coming year. If you do not renew by that deadline, you may still reinstate by August 1 by paying the renewal fee plus a $150 administrative fee.
Second reinstatement opportunity: If you do not reinstate by February 28, you may still reinstate by August 1 by completing your renewal and paying the renewal fee plus a $300 reinstatement fee.
If you do not reinstate by August 1, your certification will be permanently revoked.
Log in to your Inteleos portal to complete your reinstatement steps and payment.
CME Requirements
If your three-year CME period ends with the December 31, 2025 renewal deadline and you do not reinstate by February 28, 2026, you must submit copies of your required Accepted CMEs earned during your three-year CME period (up to December 31, 2025).
The deadline for final reinstatement, including all fees and CMEs, is August 1, 2026.
