ARDMS, APCA and Inteleos: Now all in one site

June 25, 2026

FAQs

What is this website update about?

On June 29, we are launching a new website that brings Inteleos, ARDMS, and APCA together in one digital home. This change creates a clearer, more connected path to information, support, and key resources.

The new site supports a stronger shared experience for certificants, students, educators, partners, sister societies, and internal teams. It also makes it simpler to move between related content without navigating separate websites.

Who is Inteleos?

Inteleos, established in 2016, is a nonprofit certification organization that provides governance, infrastructure, and shared services for healthcare certification programs, including the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography® (ARDMS®), the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement™ (APCA™), and the Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Certification Academy™.

Through these programs, Inteleos supports professional certification in sonography, physician imaging, and point-of-care ultrasound, while the Inteleos Foundation leads the organization’s philanthropic and global health efforts.

Is this still ARDMS or APCA?

Yes.

ARDMS and APCA remain the same trusted certification programs, now presented within a single Inteleos website. This update does not change the ARDMS or APCA brands, certifications, portals, or support teams you already know; it simply brings Inteleos, ARDMS, and APCA together in one connected digital experience. Inteleos has governed and supported ARDMS and APCA since 2016; this update makes that relationship clearer online.

Why is the site changing?

We made this change to improve clarity, navigation, and access across the Inteleos family.

The updated site helps people:

  • Find information more efficiently
  • Reach support with fewer clicks
  • Move more easily between related content
  • Understand how Inteleos, ARDMS, and APCA are connected

Why is it happening now?

This is the right time to create a stronger long-term foundation for the website experience.

As websites grow, content expands, audiences need easier ways to find the right information without duplication or confusion, and certificants often look for additional learning and next steps as their careers evolve. A connected digital home helps us communicate more clearly, better support those exploring learning and certification pathways, and adapt as professional learning and validation needs change over time.

Launch timing

When does the updated website launch?

The updated website launches on June 29.

What should I expect during launch week?

During launch week, you may notice:

  • A new homepage
  • Refreshed page layouts
  • New navigation paths to familiar content
  • Updated page titles
  • Some saved bookmarks or older links that no longer work
  • Follow-up guidance and support resources

Will there be downtime?

We expect to have a short window of disruption the morning of June 29 but will minimize the impact to users as much as possible. We appreciate your patience while we implement this improved experience.

What is changing

What may look or work differently after launch?

After launch, you may notice changes to:

  • Branding (logos, icons, imagery), page layouts will reflect a more unified visual system
  • Robust, AI-boosted search feature to help guide users to information and tools
  • Navigation, page titles may change
  • Page structure, some content may move to a new section or menu path

In most cases, the content or tool you need still exists, but will sit under a new path.

What will be better or easier for me?

The updated site aims to make common tasks easier.

You can expect:

  • Clearer navigation
  • A more connected path to information and support
  • Easier movement across Inteleos, ARDMS, and APCA content
  • Simpler access to key pages and resources
  • A more consistent user experience across Inteleos audiences

What is not changing

What stays the same?

MY ARDMS / MY APCA logins and portal access are not changing with this website update. These parts of your experience stay the same:

  • Your certification validity
  • Your application record
  • Exam eligibility policies
  • Fees remain the same

What this means for different audiences

How does this change affect certificants?

Certificants should see a clearer path to certification and exam information, renewal details, portals, and support. Some saved links may need updates after launch.

How does this change affect educators?

Educators may need to review training materials that include:

  • Saved links
  • Screenshots
  • Step-by-step directions
  • Training materials
  • Shared partner resources that point to older pages

How does this change affect partners and sister societies?

Partners and sister societies may need to review shared links, resource pages, newsletters, and reference materials that point to older pages.

The updated site gives these groups a more unified place to direct their audiences and a clearer view of the Inteleos family online.

What to do if you cannot find a page, tool, or resource

If you cannot find something after launch:

  1. Start from the homepage.
  2. Use the main navigation.
  3. Use the enhanced search.
  4. Visit the Resource Hub.
  5. Check the page title to confirm you found the right destination.
  6. Save the new link.
  7. Contact Customer Care if you cannot find a page after using the homepage, navigation, and enhanced search.

Does a broken bookmark mean the page no longer exists?

Many links from ardms.org and apca.org will be redirected to corresponding pages on our new website. If you bookmarked a page on ardms.org or apca.org and that bookmark does not redirect you to a corresponding page on the new inteleos.org site, the content has either been re-categorized into a new section of the site or no longer exists.

Helpful starting points after launch

Use these as reliable starting points:

  • Homepage
  • Portal login page
  • Certification and Exam finder
  • Resource Hub
  • Search function
