Inteleos’ Guide to SDMS 2026

Booth 416 has three things that change something practical about how you prove and build what you can do. Join our representatives to discuss the ongoing developments in the Inteleos ecosystem. 

Impera™. Inteleos’ professional identity platform. It is where the certifications you have earned live, and where you access and share them from. Access Impera™ via MyPortal, and log in at the booth so one of our specialists can walk you through it. 

Vantari VR. A short video is available to view on the booth, showing where simulation-backed skills validation is heading, and what it means for how proficiency gets demonstrated rather than described. Take the survey afterwards and enter to win a prize.  

SKILLS. Keeping your certification active does not have to mean setting aside a weekend. Knowledge Confirmation quizzes through the SKILLS platform are a component of the MOC program, and most take about ten minutes. They are short and focused, built to reinforce key clinical knowledge and support ongoing competence, and you complete them in the SKILLS app on your phone whenever it works for you. Ask us for a walkthrough at the booth.

Thursday, September 24, 12 to 1 PM. “Building Your Sonography Career: Certification, Specialization, and Career Advancement.” 

Sonography offers more career paths now than it did five years ago, and most of them are not obvious from inside a scan room. Leaders from SDMS and ARDMS, an Inteleos community, will work through what those paths actually require. 

You will leave knowing three things: 

• Which specialty certifications open which doors. What the specialty paths look like in practice and how holding a second or third certification changes the roles you are eligible for. 
• How sonographers move into management, education, research, and industry. Not that these roles exist, but what the people in them did first, and where the transition usually stalls. 
• What employers are screening for now. The competencies showing up in job requirements that were not there a few years ago, and how to build them before you need them. 

This session requires advance registration through SDMS. Reserve your seat before you arrive, because lunch sessions fill.

Every registered attendee receives an entry ticket with their conference materials, carrying the Inteleos or ARDMS logo. To enter, drop your ticket in the box at Booth 416 any time during the conference. If your ticket is not in the box, you are not in the drawing, so make Booth 416 an early stop.

Free ARDMS and specialty ribbons. Pick up one for ARDMS and one for each specialty you hold, and wear what you have earned for the rest of the conference. 

Ask us about volunteer opportunities. The people who write and review our exam content are practicing sonographers like you, which is the most direct way to influence the standards you are measured against. 

And come talk with us. Our team is at the booth all three days, and the conversations we have on the floor shape what we build next. Bring your questions about a certification path, or your ideas about how the experience could work better for the people using it.

SDMS convenes this profession. ARDMS certifies it, and ARDMS is one of the certification communities that make up Inteleos.
