Continuous Learning with Year-Round Quizzes

The SKILLS platform features quarterly quiz releases for each of your certified specialties.

• You will only see quizzes for your specialties. If you don’t see the right specialties, please reach out to Customer Care for help.
• NEW quizzes will be released each quarter, starting on the first day of the quarter, and can be completed at your own pace throughout the year
• ABVM Vascular and Endovascular Medicine certification (expiring in 2025 only): 2 quizzes per specialty are due December 31, 2025, to meet the annual requirement.
• ABVM Vascular and Endovascular Medicine certification (expiring in 2026 and beyond): quizzes are not yet required.
• RDMS, RDCS, RVT, RMSKS certification: 4 quizzes per specialty are required beginning January 1, 2026 with a first due date of December 31, 2026.
• RPVI and RMSK: quizzes can be taken but are currently in the pilot stage and not yet required.

• You will have as many attempts as you require to answer a question correctly. If you answer incorrectly, you will receive an explanation and learning resources before being asked to re-answer.
• You can skip questions, but they will be marked as incorrect.
• Answers cannot be changed once submitted or skipped, but you have unlimited attempts to answer each question prior to skipping one.
• A passing score is 80% correct answers for each specialty within an annual cycle. Even after reaching 80%, we encourage you to keep going—every question you complete builds your knowledge and strengthens your skills.
• Your login will time out after 60 minutes of inactivity.
• In the platform, you’ll be able to see your results instantly after completing a quiz, and you’ll be able to see cumulative progress from the dashboard.
• The dashboard will keep track of quiz due dates based on when they’ve been released each quarter, but quizzes will only truly be required by year-end.
• The dashboard will display your quarterly and year-to-date performance; however, you may notice a delay between the portal and your SKILLS platform dashboard. Don’t worry! Check back in an hour and let us know if those are still not aligned.
