The MSK Specialty certification includes three specialty clinical areas; Upper Extremity, Lower Extremity, and Soft Tissue.
Note: the Clinical exams can also be taken separately as individual certifications.
Prerequisites
Prerequisites:
- Medical license
- 150 MSK studies (within the preceding 36 months of application)
- Patient log
Prerequisites:
- Active healthcare professional in good standing
- Participation in the interpretation and performance of 20 relevant POCUS cases (upper extremity, lower extremity, or soft tissue) within the last 2 years.
- Completion of the POCUS Fundamentals Certificate

Exam is comprised of three components: a Clinical Case-Based Assessment, Peer Evaluations, and Video Submissions videos.
